Empire Wealth Strategies was founded in 1967 in New York City. Since our small beginnings, we have grown to a team of over 100 advisors, each with unique skill sets and experience. Our purpose is to build a close relationship with clients, offer them financial education and guidance, while ensuring their financial affairs are handled discreetly and professionally. We are more than a trusted advisor to our clients, we are coaches, listeners, problem solvers, and friends.

Michael resides in New York City with his wife, Mara and daughter, Claire. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, traveling and cheering on the VT Hokies Football Team.
With over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, Michael has dedicated his career to building an elite team of Financial Services Representatives in the New York market. Michael has a track record of developing teams comprised of both highly productive, experienced representatives who are driving to take their career to new heights, as well as a host of young professionals who are eager to learn from them.
Prior to joining Empire Wealth Strategies, Michael was a Managing Sales Director with Barnum Financial. He is a member of GAMA as well as AALU. In 2007, he graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Financial Management. He is a member of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association.

Unknown to many, John is a reality TV enthusiast. He actually started a college savings plan 7 years before Oliver, his son, was born, and if John could be anywhere, he would be skiing!
John T. Conte, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL®, is a Vice President at Empire Wealth Strategies, New York, NY. He joined the firm in 2012, taking responsibility for helping new advisors launch and develop successful practices. He has 15 years of financial industry experience.
Currently, John focuses on enhancing the firm’s sales process, practice development and product knowledge. He leads a management team that is committed to simplifying financial markets and life insurance decisions. Working as both a manager and financial advisor, he also serves as an advocate for clients who want to make the best choices possible in today’s market.
In addition to holding several professional designations, he is a member of GAMA International, an organization for promoting leadership in the financial services industry, and has qualified for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He holds NASD Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Before joining Empire Wealth Strategies, he built a successful practice as a financial advisor, working primarily with the Wall Street community and attorneys in the New York metro market. He also served as Director of Product Development at New York Life. He holds a BS degree in Quinnipiac University with a major in Advertising.
He and his wife Emily have one child.

Vice President of Talent Acquisition
Jessica Dugan is a Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Empire Wealth Strategies, New York, NY. In this capacity, she focuses on executive-level recruiting, sales and business development for the firm. With passion for making an impact on careers of financial advisors and support staff, she drives successful initiatives to build a firm-of-the-future in financial services.
Before joining Empire Wealth Strategies in 2016, Jessica worked as Talent Acquisition Manager and as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant at MetLife. She also participated in MetLife’s Financial Fellowship Program. She has six years of financial industry experience.
Jessica holds a BS degree in Communications Sciences from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the Welch School of Business at Sacred Heart University.
She serves on the Event Committee of the New York City chapter of Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS). She also participates in her community as a Volunteer Instructor with Junior Achievement and as a volunteer mentor with the Norwalk Mentor Program. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running and reading.
Scott Francis | Vice President
Scott Francis is a Vice President at Empire Wealth Strategies, New York, NY. He is responsible for the on-boarding training program for emerging advisors during their first months with the firm, with emphasis on guiding effective skills for selling, presenting, prospecting and networking. He also works side-by-side with new advisors in the field to increase their client-facing confidence and proficiency.
Before joining Empire Wealth Strategies in 2017, Scott worked as a successful financial advisor at MetLife and David Lerner Associates. At MetLife, he was a President Conference Qualifier and twice qualified for Leaders recognition. He has 15 years of financial industry experience and holds NASD Series 24, 7, 65 and 63 licenses.
He holds a BA degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from SUNY Albany.
He is married to Valleri and has three children, for whom he serves as a part-time soccer coach. He is actively involved with the boards of education at his children’s schools.

Bridget Farrington serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications for Empire Wealth Strategies, New York, NY, where she creates and implements marketing and sales programs for the firm and its financial advisors. She also is responsible for the firm’s branding strategy, marketing aimed at recruitment and talent acquisition, and social media development and adoption. She works directly with both experienced and new financial advisors, helping to maximize their productivity, develop support sales campaigns, and expand outreach to communities.
Bridget joined Empire Wealth Strategies in 2013. Before accepting her current position, she worked as an Executive Assistant, supporting one of the firm’s elite-level financial advisors. Previously, she worked as Marketing & Distribution Channel Coordinator at Bematech, a technology company, where she helped to develop branding strategy, positioning for the North American market, and the company website.
She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS degree in Experimental Psychology and Criminal Justice. She is active in her community as a volunteer for New York Cares and in her spare time enjoys baking and travel.

Stacey loves bad reality TV, and was an exchange student to Bilbao, Spain during her junior year of high school. Her favorite food is Sushi.
Stacey is committed to helping the firm navigate the complex and ever-changing compliance rules. She joined EWS in May of 2014 after 16 years serving as Regional VP for Royal Alliance, AIG. She currently holds a Series 4, 7, 24, 53 and 65. She is currently studying for her CLU.
Stacey was raised in Queens, NY and is a proud alumnus of Brooklyn Technical High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University. She currently resides in Broad Channel, NY with her husband, son, and dog.
